After finishing the Tour of California with a good tenth place overall, I am now in an altitude training camp with my team in Lienz (Osttirol). So there isn't much time to relax. The training sessions are very intense. Now it's about winding down from the races and finetuning the form.
One of our rides took us across the Großglockner road at 2500m. The ride to the summit felt like being in a labyrinth. Metres of snow to my left and right - a great panorama, but also a bloody hard climb ;-) You can see it in one of the photos. Things are more relaxed on the rest days. After a short session on the turbo trainer and some core training, I also have time for my girlfriend and our dog who joined me for a few days.
I'm sending you snowy greetings and hope it is warmer where you are ;-) Your Maximilian.
