New goals after the Rest Day

A rest day at the Tour de France is not at as restful, as one might think. Yesterday, after a 5 hour transfer to the next stage finish, we arrived at 11 p.m. at our hotel in the Departement le Charente-Maritime. Things started today at 9:30 with a Covid test. We rode a short training round before I went for x-rays. The collarbone is doing well. But unfortunately I still don't have the form I had before the crash. This seems to cost me a lot of energy to compensate for my limitations from my injury.

So far I have had better and worse days. Unfortunately Emu and Gregor are the same. But the Tour still has a long way to go. We will concentrate on Peter's green jersey and on stage wins.

Of course we had hoped for more from the first week, but we are still fully motivated and will try to make the best of the situation.
