Last race of the season in China

Today is the start of the six-day Gree-Tour of Guangxi. I am especially happy to be here at the start. Not just because as a land, China is always a real adventure, but also because after the many throwbacks this season, I have now worked myself into a performance level that makes me confident for this race. The one-day races in Italy and the Giro di Lombardia were a hard return to racing after my fractured hand and the infection which caused me to miss the World Championships. But I kept on feeling better, even if I am still not entirely pain-free. Here in China I will at any rate really bear down and again show what I can do. Yours, Max.
